I'm having problems with my new iphone 5s?

Okay, So i got a Iphone 5s and so far i'm more then disappointed with its performance. I backed it up from icloud, and i thought everything was going okay but when i clicked on music nothing was downloaded… I tried syncing it again and it didn't work. But on itunes it says i'm over capacity while my phone itself says other wise ( on its usage bit ). "other" is taking up about 6GB of my data which only leaves me 10GB… When i'm only using about 13GB on my old iphone… ( and i haven't added anything new, they are also both 16GB of data) Anyone know why this is? Its really pissing me off >.> and overall super disappointed with apple at the moment.

'other' is the 'soul' of your phone. It's texts, app input data, games levels and scores, web cache, all that stuff. If you backed up to iCloud there's a catch. ICloud gives you 5gb max for FREE. Anything above that you have to buy cloud space from Apple and pay on a yearly basis. If you attempt to put more than 5 on it, no wonder it's disappointing. Best shot at getting it right would be to use iTunes only and then reset up iCloud with that device.
Suggestion: Reset 5s back to factory specs and set up as a new device with iTunes through the prompts so all your stuff crosses over much better. Starting from scratch will rid you of 'other' so everything will/should fit on there like before.

'Other' data is data used up by the IOS. It needs that space for the phone to run. Issue is it should only be around 3.5gb. If at 6gb that tells me you have a data corruption. It will have to be restored using itunes on a computer.

Just back it up on itunes, thats what I do for most but I backup contacts to icloud also. Thats faster imo if you are transferring a large amount of data. You sound like a chronic complainer, go get a different phone then.
