Okay so I'm trying to buy a iPhone 5 off of eBay and I found one but it says "Apple iPhone 5~16Gb~Black and slate~Smartphone IOS7 lock"
okay I know everything else but it says lock at the end and my mom saying you can't get it because it's locked and what you gonna do with a locked phone. I need help is my mom right or is she right if so what does. "Lock" really mean on eBay.
Read the description better. Which carrier is it locked to? Is it your carrier? If not then don't bother it's locked to whichever carrier it states.

I was planning on staying on my o2 contract but switching my phone to an iphone by buying one and getting a nano sim card that o2 would give me for free. I have found an iphone 5 for over £100 cheaper (compared to apple price) on ebay but it says o2 locked instead of unlocked. Does this mean that i have to have an o2 contract (which i have so i should be okay i think?) or something else? Someone please explain to me?

- Is ebay buyer trying to scam me? An ebay buyer bought an iphone 3gs from me 1 month ago and he is barley telling me now that it doesn't work. He opened a case against me stating that the item wasn't as described. Hes had the item for a month and hes barley telling me now, is this a scam from the buyer? If so what do I do? Note: I put no refunds or exchange on my listing.
