Is ebay buyer trying to scam me?
An ebay buyer bought an iphone 3gs from me 1 month ago and he is barley telling me now that it doesn't work. He opened a case against me stating that the item wasn't as described. Hes had the item for a month and hes barley telling me now, is this a scam from the buyer? If so what do I do? Note: I put no refunds or exchange on my listing.
Your return policy is meaningless on eBay. Buyers have 45 days to return things.
If you want to keep selling there, your best bet is to offer a refund when the buyer ships it back to you at their expense, using Delivery Confirmation or tracking.
Buyers almost always win SNAD claims.

- Trying to unlock iPhone but can't find proper non-scam site? I'm trying to unlock my iPhone 4 locked to Telstra. I bought it on ebay so I don't have contact with the seller. I Can't find a cheaper way to unlock it than the $60 apple solution, I've seen a few sites that have lower prices but I can't be sure of the legitimacy of it. Anyone know a good site with some good rep that can unlock it for cheap? Please!
- Is this sale on twitter legit or is he trying to scam me? I messaged a guy on twitter about iphones he says hes selling. He seemed legit until he said that I had to pay with a vanilla card. I don't understand if this is secure or not. He claims that there's two serial numbers and if i give him one than he will get verification of the payment or something. - If a buyer e-mails you on Craigslist asking you to text them, is this a scam? I received a response for a coffee table I had up for sale. The buyer mentioned the coffee table in the response but asked me to text them. I could not find scams related to this when I searched but wanted to make sure. It appears the reply was sent from an iPhone.
