I need an app for some effects in my video?

I want to make a video of myself, but add an animated character in it ( like a stickman, cat etc) to do the same moves as me, the problem is that i don't know what apps are needed for that, i'm installing the app called "after effects cc" and i also have an iphone if there's any app needed for that. What should i use?
