I need to transfer movies from an iPhone to a computer?
Okay, here goes. I synched my mother's iPhone 5 with my computer a year ago and added four movies I had made to the Videos app.
I have not synched it since then and now I no longer have access to the computer I synched it with. The hard drive the films were backed up on also failed, leaving the iPhone as the only source of these videos. Now I need the videos on my new computer and can't get them off!
Some details. My old computer was a 13-inch mid-2010 MacBook Pro. My new computer is a 15-inch late-2013 MacBook Pro.
The phone (as I previously mentioned) is an iPhone 5.
The checkbox "Manually manage music and videos" is checked.
I have tried dragging and dropping the videos from the "Movies" section.
I can't delete anything else off the phone like apps in order to get these movies.
And one last detail: I HATE iTunes because I'm always running into sync-related issues like this! I don't know if any of that helps, but someone please attempt to help!
Added (1). As I said, Logan, I no longer have access to the computer or my mother's "account". I'm not considering iCloud to come into the equation at all. It's too buggy and cumbersome right now to take seriously.
You can try this one: http://www.imobie.com/...honetrans/
Have you tried using iCloud as another alternative do it through Wi-Fi though as you may use a lot of data
Or simply log her account onto your laptop save movies on it and log off simple
- Transfer movies to iPhone using iCloud? Before you assume what the question is about, I'm already aware of how to get movies from your iTunes library (using iCloud) to my iPhone, but what's puzzling me is the fact that not all of my movies are showing when I view my "Purchased Movies". I have tried moving my movie files from my movies library to the "Purchased Files" folder on iTunes, but to no avail. Is there any other way you can download movies from your iTunes library using iCloud?
- Is there an iPhone app to stream movies from my computer to my iPhone via a network? The ability to stream video files that are on my computer exists on other devices I own (for example I can watch video files from my computer on my Xbox 360 without having to move them since my computer and Xbox are on the same lan network). So I'm just wondering if there's a way to watch my video files on my iPhone while being connected to my Wi-Fi (the same Wi-Fi my PC is connected to). I hope I explained this in a way that makes sense.
- If I get someone an iTunes gift card, can they use it to buy movies and then watch those movies on AppleTV? I haven't really been able to find a practical answer on any Apple site or forum. My brother buys & rents a lot of movies via his AppleTV. I want to get him an iTunes gift card but am not sure if buying movies on the AppleTV works through iTunes. Would an iTunes gift card work for this purpose? I know it may have to be redeemed on a phone/computer but I want to know if it can then be used on the AppleTV.
- I need a website to watch movies off my iPhone? I use to use movietube but that website was taken down I would really like a other website like movietube it had all the newest movies organized by the released date and you could watch tv shows too if your show had a new episode out that same night it would be on movietube so if anyone has a great website like this to help make my life a little easier I will be eternally greatful thanks
