I want to buy a iphone 5 from someone, but how do I know if its unlocked?
I want to buy it off someone but how do they unlock it? The lady thats selling it said she bought a iphone 6 and is waiting for that one in the mail. Once she gets it she said she's selling her phone. Should I buy her i phone 5? What does it mean to be unlocked?
Unlocked means it is able to work with more than one carrier. A way to verify this is to have 2 SIMs from 2 different carriers to see if the phone picks up both.
- My iPhone says its up to date but its not? I have the iPhone 4s and every time I go into settings-general-software update, it says my software is up to date with iOS 6.1.3! All my friends have gotten iOS 7 already! Why doesn't mine say I need to update to iOS 7! And how can I make it say that? And I know that the iPhone 4s can get it.

- I talked with someone that works at at&t and she unlocked my iphone 5 for me. How do i know if its actally unlocked? Or how can I check? She said My phone was unlocked and I could use it with any carrier but how do I know if its actually unlocked
