I want to fix my iPhone 6 shattered screen at apple, but they claim it's bent?

I recently shattered my iPhone 6. It still works completely fine, but I brought it in to apple and they said it would be $109 to fix if that's all thats wrong with it. Then someone looked at it and told me it was bent and I needed to pay $299 instead. I went home and looked at it and it's clearly not bent. What do I do? They're just trying to get me to pay more I'm assuming, and If I JUST want my front screen repaired for $109, can they refuse to do it?

Go back and ask them to show you how the phone chassis is bent. It can be very subtle. A new screen can't be fitted to a bent phone chassis by Apple. You can try doing so, and independent repair outlets may attempt it but entirely at your own risk.

Apple have their faults, but trying to con customers isn't something they're known for.

  • Where to fix shattered iphone 4 screen? A friend of mine has an iphone 4 with a shattered screen and the apple store told her twice that they no longer do the screens, but my other friend has her iphone 4s screen repaired there. But she said I can have it if I know a place to get it fixed. I've seen some repair kits but I don't know if they work or if you have to know what you're doing. Is there anywhere to send it to get it fixed? Or anything like that?
  • IPhone 5 shattered screen, will O2 fix? My iPhone 5 now has a shattered screen and I've been looking up how to get it fixed before I go to a O2 shop tomorrow and I'm alittle confused. A lot of people are saying O2 don't fix iPhone 5 or that they've took weeks and weeks. So I'm just really hoping that someone has some experience in what to do.
  • I want to set alert for public holidays on my iPhone but they're not being saved. How can I fix this? I've moved countries and still want to be reminded of events happening back home but every time I activate the alert on the calendar, it's mysteriously vanished when I look 5 minutes later. Any help would be appreciated. I want to set an alert…
  • I shattered the screen on my iPhone, can Apple replace just the screen? Is it possible to only get the glass screen replaced or will I need to get a new phone? And if Apple can replace it, how much will it cost?
