I think you can't. Its locked that is say it doesn't work to you, how would the pawnshop recevie it?
Not only would you not be given ANY money for something that was not usable, but they would notify the police that you were attempting to pawn stolen goods. (Contrary to the Hollywood version of a pawn shop, they are required to keep meticulous records and verify serial numbers with the police, or they can lose their license. (All pawn shops are state and municipality licensed! )
