If I have 1gb of data how long can I be on an app for?

I have an iPhone from AT&T.

You can occasionally use data for 5 minute videos or gaming sessions, if it's an emergency. In the case of lightweight apps that just need to download images or text, you can use them for a long time (long enough that you don't need to worry). Divide 1gb by 30days and you get around 33mb per day for a month. If you're not sure, you can check your cellular data usage in settings>general> usage to see how much data your app used for a specific amount of time.

  • Will getting the 1GB Data Share Plan the right choice for a iPhone with At&t? I was wondering is it a right decision to choose the 1GB data share plan, since there will be only one line on the account? I don't know if that will effect my speed or what, I'm just trying to choose the right plan for an iPhone that will be the only line.
  • Will 1GB of data a month be enough for an iPhone? I'm thinking of getting an iPhone, but only the small plan, which has only 1GB of data a month. The only thing I go on the internet for on my phone is Facebook. Will it be enough data? Or will it be constantly looking for updates and stuff and use internet data? My old phone did that and took away heaps.
  • What is 1GB of shared data for iphone 4? - 1 Ok i might get an iphone 4 from at&t that is 8GB, but when i went to the mobile share plans there's a thing about 1GB of shared data with unlimited talk and text. My question is what is shared data? And the examples of using it? And how much does is 1GB to be used?
  • Is 1GB of data enough for me? I'm getting an iPhone so I will mainly be using Facebook and Twitter apps, and occasionally searching on Google. I browse Facebook and Twitter every hour or two hours depending on where I'm, and search Google once a day or once every two days. When I'm at home, I will connect to the Wi-Fi. I will get a 1GB internet data allowance per month: is this enough for my daily internet needs?
