If I replace my iPhone 4S battery, will I lose my text messages?
I have some text messages on my phone that I would like to keep, but my battery is fried. I need to replace it, but I need to know if the stuff on my phone will be deleted.
No that's on the memory. It's like taking the plug out of a ps3, when you put it back in all the games and messages will be there
No replacing your battery shouldnt affect anything on the phone
No, all of your data (including text messages) will not be changed. It will remain the same, since you did not do anything to temper with the internal HDD.
I don't think so. The battery is just the battery and it's different from the memory. Unless other parts were to be replaced as well.
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.

- If I turn off push messages on my iphone 4 will I still get my regular text messages? I read that turning off push messages or setting them to manually helps save battery life. I want to know if I do this will I still be able to receive my regular text messages.
- If I replace my iPhone screen, will I lose everything? Hi! This weekend I'm getting my front screen on my iPhone fixed. In order for them to fix my screen, they'll have to take my phone apart. Once they put it back together, will everything (my data & pictures & everything else like that) still be there or will I lose it? Please answer my question!
