If the iPhone is t mobile and has bad esn does it matter or not?
Added (1). If the iPhone is t mobile and has bad esn could I still connect it to my plan
Actually it has a bad IMEI (for GSM phones), meaning it can't be activated on ANY North American or European cell phone provider, due to being blacklist for being reported, lost/stolen or has been defaulted on payment, monthly plan and or installment on the itself.
So if you have bought such a phone, and did not know this ahead of time, I would ask the seller for my money back. If you knew this ahead of time, you have scammed yourself and pay whatever you paid for a phone that you can't use as a cell phone.
- Would a bad esn version iPhone be able to be activated with simple mobile? So I want to buy a iPhone 5 and I saw one on eBay for Verizon but it has bad esn like now Verizon has its iPhone 5 unlocked but if it has bad esn would I be able to activate it? The iPhone 5 for Verizon is factory unlocked which allows you to connect to gsm which is what simple mobile is
- What does it mean if an iPhone has a bad ESN and can I buy it? My iPhone 5s was stolen and Verizon as usual is not taking any pity from anyone nor would they offer me a replacement at a discount so if I want the replacement I would have to buy it at full price. I looked online on ebay and saw some iPhone 5s that were really cheap selling but when I look it says bad ESN. I read somewhere that you can't activate this with your provider is that is the case. Is this true and what exactly is bad ESN on an iPhone?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Is buying a iPhone with Bad ESN bad? I want to buy an iPhone 4 or 4s but it says bad esn. I'm not going to activate the phone to any provider. I just want it for Wi-Fi for home use. Is it bad to buy it or okay?
