IMessage not working with no service?
I have the IPhone 5 and I flew internationally and I connected to Wi-Fi since i have no service to text.before, it was working but then my iMessage wouldn't deliver so I turned my iMessage off and back on. Then it got rid of my phone number in the send and recive box, it's only showing up as my email and delivering my iMessages as my email. How can I get my number back to show up checked and send and recive on my phone number? Could it be cuz I have no sericve? When I fly back home do you think it'll show my number again?
It's because you have no service. When you fly home, your number should be showing so don't worry. To get your number to show without flying home, you'd have to call your service provider.
You can text with email address as identifier also, the text messages arrive the same.
- My iMessage is not working on my Iphone 4 I got the iPhone 4 around 3weeks ago.iMessage was working just fine until today. My texts were not sending at all. I have no idea how to fix this. I tried restarting my phone and resetting it and it didn't help. Someone please help! Thank you! I have tried everything! It is working on my friend's phone though so why not mine?
- Is iMessage still not working? I have an iPhone 4S On my settings it shows that iMessage is activated. But when I text iPhone users it's still green. And I don't have the 3G at the top left corner. I'm just wondering is it still not working? Anyone experiencing the same thing?
- IPhone push/imessage not working? Been having problems with my iPhone for about an hour, all of a sudden iMessage's have stopped sending and I'm unable to get any push notifications (twitter, facebook, etc) are coming through. I've reset the phone numerous times to no avail. Any ideas what else I can do? I've checked notifications in settings and their all on. It's happened before but it hasn't stopped my iMessage working too.
- Iphone airplane mode ON, Wi-Fi enabled, iMessage not working? I'm abroad and I have airplane mode on and the Wi-Fi enabled and am connected but whenever i try to send an iMessage it goes green and won't work. I checked and everyone said iMessage will work over just Wi-Fi but how do i do it?
