In a gray bubble on the iPhone Message screen, and message color?

On the iPhone [text] Message screen, only when I text another iPhone, occasionally a gray bubble comes up saying "… " I know it's probably obvious yet I just have never been told. I believe it means either they're typing a text to me or it is being delivered by them to me.

Also, why are some of my texter's texts blue and some green?

Some are imessage and some are texts.

The (… ) means the other person is typing back. Blue text means the other user has an iPhone, green means its any other kind of phone other than iPhone.

Grey bubble with 0:00 in text

I'm having the same problem! Grey bubble with 0:00

Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

I had same problem. Turned on subject area & it got rid of it.

How do you turn on subject area to get rid of it?

Go to settings. Messages. Then turn on show subject field. Close out. Go back and turn show subject field back off. Worked for me

That did the trick!

Worked for me, awesome, thank you

Thank you! Anyone know what this is from?

Thank you. Ah the things we do to fix programmers messes.

Thanks so much. It worked for me too. Didn't mind the clock, but I couldn't see what I was texting until I sent it.

Thanks for the fix with the gray bubble worked great.

Much, much appreciated. Another Smart phone feature.

Thank you Thank you

Genius! Thanks very much! Annoying gray window makes NO sense? Why is it there anyway?

Thanks worked for me too!

It works, Thanks. It was very annoying and AT&T tech support put me on an endless hold when I called them.

What does it mean when the bubbles are white with drawn looking black dots almost cartoonish as opposed to the usual grey reply bubbles?
