Iphone 3 got wet and screen now blank?
My iphone 3 got dropped in water two days ago and went completely dead. I dried it out in a bowl of rice on a heater. Today it decided to come on and messages and notifications came through. However, the screen is completely blank and I can't see anything. What should I do? Should I try and dry it out again?
I think the iPhone is dead for good because 1) it is pretty old 2) it is not very durable 3) many phones don't survive after being dropped in water. Hope this Helps!
It's probably broken. The water has probably got through the holes such as the hole were you charge your phone. If your not sure though you could take it to an apple shop.

Its broken so i would sugest going to your phone network where you got the phone and ask them if you they can do anything
Also if it is broken you might have to buy a new phone
- My iphone got wet in the rain and now my sound is playing really low and muffled? It was raining and I was out and my iPhone was in my pocket, I don't even know how it got wet or it could of been a puddle that splashed but now when I play music, phone rings or text alert its very quiet and muffled and crackly or sometimes I can hardly hear anything at all. - IPhone 4s got wet and now it won't charge? About a month ago my I fell in a lake with my iphone in my pocket and it got wet. It still worked and the water damage indicator is still white. The only thing now is it won't charge. It died and I plugged it in and it says that it's charger but then after a while it stops and just shows the connect to power symbol. It won't turn on. - I got my iPhone 5s a little wet and now the screen is flickering? My iphone got a little water in its "waterproof" case today. Now the edges/corners of the screen constantly flicker. Also, i keep getting messages that the "accessory i'm using is not supported" even though there's nothing plugged/connected. I tried putting my phone in dry rice for a few hours but it seemed useless. Any ideas?
