My iPhone 4s got wet, and it has been in rice for 2 days now, It won't turn on?
Like I said it has been in rice for 2 days now, the lock button was broken before it got wet, so it won't turn on, even if it is plugged in the charger. What do I do? How can I get it to work again?
Take it to a repair shop as soon as possible, they specialise in water damage.
The broken power button complicates things. If you can't place it in DFU mode then you likely will have to go to a local repair shop. Water damage at this point is secondary. Best luck.

- IPhone 4s got wet and now it won't charge? About a month ago my I fell in a lake with my iphone in my pocket and it got wet. It still worked and the water damage indicator is still white. The only thing now is it won't charge. It died and I plugged it in and it says that it's charger but then after a while it stops and just shows the connect to power symbol. It won't turn on. I really can't afford a new iPhone. How can I fix this? Now it's completely dead and won't show anything at all.

It seems like it's dead and there's nothing I can do to turn it on. I tried holding home and the on/off button, I tried plugging it into my lap top while holding the home button and just holding the on/off button, nothing seems to work.
