Iphone 3GS Safari App Gone?

My Safari app has disappeared from my phone, I know it hasn't been deleted because I know they can't be deleted from the phone, I have checked the whole home screen but its disappeared?! I even typed it in on my "search phone" thing and it says that I have no Safari app. I don't know what's going on, should I go into an Apple store and try to get them to fix it?

Backup a copy of phone info to iTunes. Settings > General > Reset. Erase it back to factory settings and that should 'restore' Safari. You're right though, native apps can't be deleted. It's probably hiding in a folder somewhere.

  • Why does gmail sign me out of my account every time I close my safari app on my iphone? This is a recent development and I'm starting to get really irritated. It started happening today after I cleared my history. Before today, I could close all my apps and when I opened them I would still be logged into my gmail account. This is no longer the case, and I'm not sure why. I cleared my cache and enabled cookies, so I don't understand why gmail is doing this. I've probably tried logging into my gmail account 10 times trying to fix this.

I can't decide if I should the FB on either of my devices I got an iPod Touch and a Samsung phone if you don't have the app on either you can't do timeline photos. On iPod FB safari it will go to mobile uploads or IOS I don't want that plus the safari on either makes the photo albums look weird. Which one is easier?
  • My iPhones safari app won't rotate? I was trying to do something on safari and it wouldn't rotate for me I looked up every where and it won't work so I went to my pics and turned out that those will rotate but not safari please help
