IPhone 4 backup and restore?

I had over 1,223 pictures and like 60 videos on my phone and I backed it up and over 6 months worth of text messages and 32 apps, I tried restoring it to get everything on it and it said it was 2 hours until it was going to be done is it that long because how many pictures / videos / text messages I have on there? I can't afford to loose any so if I could have someone help me, please and thank you.

Based on the amount of data you want to restore AND given your slow internet speed, it will take it 2 hours… If you do not like the answer it gave you, then find a place that offers faster internet speed and do the restoral there… If you refuse to do the restoral anywhere else, then oh well… Guess you just gotta grow up and suck it up…

Next time, don't pick and choose what you want sync'd back to your phone. Common sense, even for a pre-teen, should tell you that your googoogaga friends aren't going to look at EVERYTHING on the phone in a short period of time you let them hold it. Lmao

  • Will my passcode be removed if I backup and restore my iPhone? So my dad put a passcode on my iPhone4… I have the phone but it has a passcode… Can I crack the passcode with ios7? Is there anyway? Or I have a computer synced with the phone… Can I make a backup and restore? If I do so passcode will be removed? And if yes… Then how can I get the same passcode back? so that my doesn't know that I used my iPhone! Or can I unlock the passcode somehow using iTunes?

  • What does set up as new iphone and restore from backup mean? I have an ipod touch and I have many pictures, apps, and music on it. And now I have an iphone. I plugged my iphone in, and "Set up as new iphone or restore from the back up of" popped up. What happens if I set up as new iphone? What happens if I restore from back up? What do you suggest? I don't want to delete anything from my Ipod or my Iphone. I don't want apps, music, texts, or photos to be deleted. What should I do?
