IPhone 4 battery draining very fast?

I have been having problems with my iPhone 4. The battery first started to go flat on 18% but after a few wks it now goes flat on 80% an even as soon as i take it off charge. While its on charge over night I wake up n it's flat an takes up to 2 hrs to turn on. I don't know what's wrong with it, can anyone help me please

I think you should go to the apple store, they might replace it

I received an update today with the details being that they fixed this exact problem. (iOS 6.2.1)

There are three possibilities: 1. Maybe you have things like 4G, Bluetooth, fetch notifications, on and they drain battery pretty quick. Or maybe 2. U addicted your battery to do that by not having a schedule for charging (ex. Charging when it's at 80%) so it gets addicted to do that and then you can't stop it. Or 3.It's broken go to an apple store.

For example yesterday it charged all last night and the next morning by 11:00am it's at 68% I don't have any notifications on beside text messages. My brightness is very low.
