Iphone 4 ios 5.1.1 No keyboard, Lockscreen sound?

I have an iphone 4 running on ios 5.1.1 (jailbroken) and I can't hear the sounds from keyboard and lockscreen. I do have the keyboard and lockscreen sounds enabled in the settings. I can hear the sound from ringtones, apps and music but not the keyboard and lockscreen I don't want to restore my iPhone because I have very important jailbreak data. Is there any solution to this problem without restoring to iTunes. I tried to do it in safe mode but it didn't work.

By the way I used a q-tip and it didn't work. I restarted my iPhone and didn't work any solutons. I can run youtube videos iswell. I tried headphones but the lockscreen/keyboard sound didn't work iswell.

Are you sure your phone isn't on silent? When your phone is on silent, when you play music, ringtones and youtube videos, they can still be heard, but when the lockscreen or keyboard is activated it will be silent. There's a switch at the top left side of the phone, if the switch has an orange line on it then your phone is on silent, just push the switch the other way. If not, then I have no idea.sorry!

  • Why don't my apps or keyboard play sound? My iphone 5 can play sound when I test my ringer and alerts but none of my apps play sounds nor does my lock or keyboard. What is wrong with my phone?

  • Jailbroken iPhone LockScreen Theme Problems I have recently jailbroken my iPhone 5 and got a cool theme for my lock-screen, but for some reason my notifications aren't coming in on the lock-screen. Which is really annoying as i have to unlock my phone and check see if its a message or email etc. Is there a tweak to fix it? As i really would like to have notifications back on the lock-screen!
