Iphone 4 multi-touch not responding in a certain spot?

I have been experiencing this problem for quite some time now and now its getting annoying. I dropped my iPhone 4 before and it made a lot of cracks on the top of the screen, and after that, whenever i try to touch this certain part of the screen, it wouldn't respond. The spot is about the middle of the screen and i can't drag down notification center because when my finger goes over the spot it would stop because it thinks that i pulled my finger off of the screen at the spot. I have noticed the spot is a horizontal line that when you touch it nothing happens. And the corners of the device are not responding either. So please give me tips on what i should do now.

I want to move certain photos to certain albums and when I click on "edit album" then i hit this arrow button on the picture and when i hit "move to another album" it gave me an option of 2-3 albums to put the picture into.
