Iphone 4 recovery mode on itunes?
Yesterday night my iphone 4 completely cut off, i left it on the charger over night hoping it'll come on, it didn't, i have tried pressing the home button and top button for 10 secs but it didn't work either, I also plugged it to itunes but it says error 1600. What else ca i do to get my phone back working. I called the itunes store ad they said it would cost $400 for a new phone
Sounds like water damage or it was jailbroke.

- My iphone is stuck in recovery mode, and iTunes won't recognize it? They don't recognize it neither in recovery mode and neither in DFU mode. Is there a way to ''hard reset'' or reboot it without itunes? This happened while i was trying to install ios 8 GM.

I have an iPhone 4 jailbroken on 6.1 and all of a sudden when I plug my phone in to my computer it says my phone is in recovery mode, even though it clearly isn't. It says the same error when I boot in safemode so I doubt it's the jailbreak that causes it, so does anyone know if there's anything that can fix this? It's not really the end of the world if there's no fix for it anyway.
