IPhone 4 text message from Unknown?
I have an iPhone 4 running the most recent software. Today I received a text from one of my friends in our Group Thread. Right after that I received a regular text. The number literally came up "Unknown" and the message said "Message not found." What is this? Was it a message from a friend that just wasn't received correctly? Is it a fake text? Is my phone messed up? I'm very confused.
That means the person who sent you the text has his/her number on private. You won't know their mobile number.
- Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. I then responded to her, but it was sent as a text message this time and i have gotten no response. I'm not as much concerned about her responding or not, I just want to know if she will receive the message.
- Why does my iPhone not make a sound when I receive a text from an unknown number? When I get a text message from a number that is not in my phone, my phone lights up and shows that I have a text but does not make a sound or ring. Can I change that somehow? I have an iPhone 5.
- Why did I get a text message from an Unknown number? So I have an iPhone 4 and I got a text message from an Unknown Number. Not a number that I don't know, it literally said "Unknown" where the number was supposed to be. There was no text in the message, and I responded with, "Hi, who's this?" and I got one of those error messages in return. What does this mean? How do you even send a text message from a blocked number?
- Why could i have gotten a text message with no text box? Yesterday morning, I looked at my smart phone ( android) and I got a text from someone. I clicked on the contact's text and there was no message, no blank bubble, nothing. It just looked like one of us was getting ready to start a conversation but no message was sent. (Extra info: I may be wrong but I think this certain contact has an iphone.) What could cause this? I don't want to ask the person because it would be extremely awkward.
