IPhone 4S battery issues, is this normal?

I just recently had to get my iPhone 4s replaced with a new one on warranty. My old one worked fine for the nine months that I owned it, until one day its battery started depleting at the rate of 30% an hour. My new one is having similar battery issues, it goes down about 20% every hour. Is this normal? When I got my first 4S back in April of 2012, I used to be able to go days without having to re-charge it, now, I have to re-charge my new one every 10 hours.

I had the same problem like two weeks ago lol. First reset the phone to factory settings. Lower your brightness, turn of your Wi-Fi and location services and the Bluetooth also turn off the streams to your emails and iCloud and it'll be fine. Hope this helps

Tommy is correct. Be aware of what apps you are running on the background while using your phone. Keeping your Bluetooth on or off makes a huge difference. Whenever you're not using it, turn it off. If you are outside of any Wi-Fi zone, turn that off as well. Keep the brightness level to somethine comfortable for your eyes. Keeping in mind of these and only use your phone to call casually, you won't need to recharge for two days.
