Iphone 4s Documents And Data trouble?
My iphone 4s is a 16gb phone and the new update has documents and data which i don't quiet understand but i know it holds messages and things like that so i have never deleted my messages for so i still have messages from when i first got the phone and i didn't know until recently documents and data was mostly your text messages so it takes up a lot og space so i have 6gbs of data from that and i read on apple forums that you should just delete the messages so i tried it and when i do delete my texts it kinda slows down my phone and i can't send or receive any messages at all and to be fair i've the longest i've waited for this process was about 2 hours so maybe it takes a long time for the phone to clean itself of the texts entirely but i just don't know what to do like i've even tried restoring the phone but for some reason i can't even restore it i know thats just an actual problem with my phone that ill most likely go to the att store to fix but i just really want to clean out my documents and date before i even go to att and have them fix my phone entirely so any suggestions would help and be much appreciated

Your problem is your iphone4s can't send messages and get so slow? Or you just want to recover your original data?
Ok, Perhaps the reason your iphone4s got slow is that there are so many needless files in it. Have you not clean up your folders for long time? If it is, there must be a lot of duplicate files and large files in your iphone4s. You should clean up them.

- What is documents and data in iPhone Storage? I read that it is the junks files including browser history, cookies, logs, caches of photos and videos, database files that are stored by your apps. Someone suggested downloading something that would "clean" your phone and free up space on your phone. I did this, but it only gave me the smallest amount of space available and I was hoping for much more! Can anyone help me out?
