IPhone 5 brand new, what to do?

I'm getting a brand new iPhone 5 and I'm wondering what to do to get the best battery life for the future. When I get it out of the box. Should I let it die all they way and then fully charge it, or fully charge it right away? Or something else?

You have to charge it daily, are you new to having a phone? On the description of the device it will say how long the battery lasts for (depending on what you are doing) like 6-8 hours or whatever. Once it has turned of and lost battery you plug it in again to charge it. Lol you over think to much. When you turn on you Iphone It should tell you how much battery you have. Hopefully you have atleast half to play around with it for a bit then you will have to charge it for a couple of hours to work again.

To keep a battery in good condition, it should be used more and charged less. Avoid charging the battery everyday. Only charge when it's near empty. Your question on what to do after unboxing - it doesn't matter.

Great buddy you will be using iPhone 5 soon, I'm yet to get it. Anyways, always charge the battery after it has gone down upto 20% or below on normal days. Once or twice a month let the mobile die down on its own before you recharge. That way you retain most of the battery juice for long time. This is what it says theoretically. Practically, it has worked well for all my gadgets. It is said that iPhone 5 has superior battery life to all its prevoius models.
