IPhone 5 does not ring WHEN RECIEVING A TEXT?
I bought this iPhone a week ago but whenever I get a text or iMessage, the alert noise does not sound.
This is not the same with calls. Calls are as normal.
Ok so on the left hand side look along the side there should be a small button not the volume buttons but a different one switch it to the different way it should work
Where you set your call tone right underneath there's a text tone option. You need to set this to a tone for it to sound. Hope this helps x

- Recieving text messages from unknown callers? Simply saying, "Hey." it has happened a few times in the past as well. My phone is an iphone and is fairly new from last December if that helps. So who are these people? Is it safe to open the message so long as you don't reply? I accidently went to the message, and hope that no one is currently hacking my phone.
