Recieving text messages from unknown callers?

Simply saying, "Hey." it has happened a few times in the past as well. My phone is an iphone and is fairly new from last December if that helps.

So who are these people? Is it safe to open the message so long as you don't reply? I accidently went to the message, and hope that no one is currently hacking my phone.

Text them back and ask them who they are. They might think you're someone else, and they just have the wrong number

  • Unknown iPhone passcode set by unknown person? A passcode has been set on my iPhone without me knowing, now it is locked up. It says here to connect it to my computer and back up then restore my iPhone. Will this clear everything off my phone or will it be the same as it was before it got locked? I have only attempted unlocking it about 5 times in fear of disabling it. I do not want to back up then restore it if it will clear everything off and transfer it to the computer. Are there any alternatives to unlocking my iPhone?
  • Not recieving text until like an hour later? I've just got a iPhone 5 on contract from my blackberry, I have switched from Orange to EE & for some reason I'm not recieving certain people's text until like an hour later, mine seem to send straight away it's just recieving. Any ways to fix this?
  • Not recieving text messages for iPhone? I have an iPhone 4 and my boyfriend has an Android. We can send texts back and forth easily, but when we wants to send me a rather long text, I never receive it. He tells me he presses send and it tells him it sends, but I never receive any message from him. It's really quite annoying because I want to know what he is trying to tell me and I think it might be my iPhone that's screwing everything up. Is there any way to resolve the issue?
