IPhone 5 has suddently stopped connecting to Wi-Fi

About three days ago, my iPhone 5 just suddently stopped connecting to Wi-Fi. I even had no service at one point. There are no problems with the Wi-Fi at home or at work (which i connect to) it's just connecting to my 3G and sometimes when i get home i will have the 'E' sign showing. It will maybe connect for a few minutes and then disappear and go back onto 3G again.

I haven't done anything differently to my phone and i don't want to be using all my 3G when the Wi-Fi is running perfectly fine.

I'm with Vodafone if that helps and i have had the phone about 6 months.

This is what you get for having an iPhone 5. Get your self a decent phone like the Samsung Galaxy s3 or HTC One. Take it to the Apple retailer store or ring the operator… They will help you out. Its there job.

About a week ago the extension connection stopped working on both my laptop and iphone. However the other connection still works and the broken one still works for other people on their PCs. has anyone had this happen/can suggest where I should look to fix this?
