Iphone 5 vs HTC One. Which one should I get?

I'm going to buy a new phone from sprint (its *** i know) and I want to either get a iPhone 5 or HTC One (All metal one with the front facing speakers). I can get either one for $100. The problem is that if I want to get a phone, I have to sell my ipod touch. Luckly, one of my friends wants to buy it for $100. My main concern is the apps. I've spent nearly $40 on apps on the Apple App store. I have no purchases on the Android store. What I really like about the HTC One is its big screen and the Beats Audio Speakers. Not to mention that the phone a a very sexy looking phone while the iphone looks like a brick of aluminum with a screen on it. I don't care much about OS or performance since most new smartphones are fast. I know both phones are capable of running high-end graphics games. Which one would you recommend? P. S I'm not using the phone for socializing, mainly for videos and games.

I currently own an android and a iPod touch now all apple products are simple to use and it looks like you have all those apps well for the htc you can't get your apps but all your music from iTunes can be transferred over believe it or not and the androids and in your case the htc will take some getting use to but do allot more than the apple products and tend to run faster but that's just my two sense.
