IPhone 5s charger keeps breaking?

So I know a lot of people have problems with the chargers and I've already gone through 3, my original charger and 2 replacements. One if the replacements wasbt compatible and my sister broke the other one and her original one. I decided to get the most expensive one at walmart, it was like 28.60, with tax it was almost 30. So I'm guessing its a good brand and I'm testing it out now and it works great. I want to make this one last because I can't afford to buy a new charger every month, I'm a teen and my allowance isn't that high. Any suggestions or tips to keep it from breaking?

If it is a wall charger, just keep it plugged into the wall. It doesn't use any extra electricity because when it isn't charging, it is just part of the building's electrical circuit. Just be careful with it, the most fragile part is where the cable attaches to the ports so never pull it out of a socket by the cord.

The only thing I can tell you is BE GENTLE! The wires underneath the white plastic are VERY delicate and thin and obviously means easy to snap. Once a wire is broken or on the verge of breaking the charger no longer works. Don't make sharp tugs on it, don't step on it, etc. All of that can easily break a wire. When your charging your phone make sure your device is up on a table or something so it can't be disturbed. When it's finished store it in a desk drawer or something. It's not the charger that's weak it's you being too rough on it. And actually I find the Apple ones are the most sturdy and durable (believe me I've tried A LOT of chargers!)
