IPhone 6 screen cracked unresponsive and full of colorful lines?

I cracked my iphone6 screen and like two weeks later the screen became unresponsive and full of colorful lines. Will this be fixed just by replacing the cracked screen?

Yes it will be fixed once a new screen is fitted.

No, it's broken inside, if only the screen was broken you'd not see the colorful lines. So changing your screen will not help, you have to buy a new one.

Send it back to Apple to get repaired.

Yes.

Yes. The screen is actually two parts permanently connected. The glass outer skin is the protection layer (although I'm beginning to think that for many it would be better made of some indestructible plastic. Too bad the touch feature would be lost!) and the inner layer which contains the pixel pad and interconnection hardware. It is replaced as a single unit.

It is probable that the pressure of using the touch screen has ruined some of the inner layer of the screen assembly and that's why the lines appeared. Continuing to use it will do nothing but make it worse and the cracked screen can allow moisture (just simple humidity can be enough) to get inside and destroy the other components! Then it will require a new phone. Get it fixed As soon as possible.
