Unresponsive iPhone 5S LCD Lines?
Okay so I started up my iPhone 5S like everyday and I found these strange lines on my password screen, where everything is blurred. And when I open YouTube, it shows the gray screen with the YouTube logo but the lines are also there! Do I need to send my phone in for a repair? I'm not really in the mood to pay hundreds of dollars for a screen repair. And also, I'm not good at taking apart my phone.
Do what anyone in your situation would do, use common sense, and take the phone to an Apple Store and get it diagnosed. That way you will find out what it will cost to repair or replace the phone, before you start assuming it will cost hundreds of dollars. Then once the Apple store gives you their estimate, is your phone in or out of warranty? If out they give you one price and if in the fix is on them. In any case, having Apple diagnose it is free.
If the fix is on you, you take it in for a second opinion with a LOCAL cell phone repair shop, and find out what the would charge for the same fix.
You do this BEFORE you decide to do ANYTHING to the phone yourself, which could make the problem worse or create a totally different problem.
- What's an LCD for an iPhone 3G? I cracks my iPhone and apparently need a digitalizer for the screen even though it still works perfectly. I've heard I need an LCD too, but I have no freaking idea what that is. How much would a screen, digitalizer, and possibly LCD cost together? - My iphone has black and white lines? And its unresponsive? I tried to take off the screen and put it back but when i turned it on it was unresponsive and has black and white lines.
- My Iphone 2g has grey lines on the lcd screen? I own a very early iphone 2g 8gb, it works perfectly and it does the job as any other iphone 2g does, though what are these grey lines across the LCD? Should i purchase and fit a new LCD?
- Is the lcd and glass frame digitizer sperated in the iphone 4s? I know in the iphone 4 they are glued together, are they glued in the 4s too? So if i was to buy just the touch screen part could i still fix my 4s?
