IPhone can't detect my home Wi-Fi?
I recently got an iPhone 4 which was previously owned. The owner had no problem detecting the Wi-Fi but for some reason, the phone won't detect my own home Wi-Fi. I've restored the phone, reset the network settings, looked up everything & nothing seems to work! It's incredibly annoying as I need the Wi-Fi to work as I need internet access when I'm at home. My iPad can connect to the Wi-Fi with no problem, it's just the phone.
Any help is very appreciated!
If other devices are connecting to your home wi-fi and your iPhone won't, I would tend to believe this is a hardware issue with the phone.
I would see about making an appointment at the Genius Bar at the Apple store to have the hardware checked.
You've tried all the obvious things such as the network resets and these haven't worked and if other devices connect the wi-fi, it has to be a phone issue.
Try changing the Wi-Fi channel
Its all about your iphone hardware problem.
