IPhone failed jailbreak attemp?

I tried to jailbreak my iphone from my friends computer, and now it won't turn on (Stuck on apple logo). I tried to put it in dfu mode and restore it, but i gives me an error and can't do it. It then gave me the option to "Update it to 9.3 (i had 9.2)" so i did that. Nothing. I have insurance on the phone from my carrier, but all i want to do is restore it. If i bring it to an apple store, and just ask them to restore it to factory defaults, will that work?

Did you do it in recovery mode or dfu? DFU is just a black screen and iTunes detects it. Press the home and lock buttons for 10 seconds then release the lock button, do this while the iPhone is plugged in to iTunes.

You could try using a program called reiboot to see if that fixes this issue. Other than that I can only think of trying and trying again to restore, going to forums like Jailbreak QA or /r Jailbreak and ask people who have used the false program you used to see what they did to fix the issue. If the program was loofmai, spell it backwards and you'll know it's fake.
