IPhone lock button broken. Can turn off but how do i turn it on?
The lock button at the top of my iphone is broken, but i have been using it fine as i have turned on 'Assistive Touch' and have been using the white dot that appears on screen.
However, I'm worried about turning it off, and surely the white dot will disappeaer when the phone is off, and I will have no way of turning it on?
Am I correct in thinking this?

Best to get it repaired if you just recently bought it and still under apple warranty.
Blow a can of compressed air around your lock button and it might blow our dust if it's blocking it. Mine stopped working and after I did that it worked again.

- IPhone won't turn on or charge! Broken lock button Yesterday my iPhone 4S turned off by its self and I can't get it to turn on. I tried charging it but nothing happens. My lock button is broken so I can't hold the home/power buttons to turn it on. My phone won't even charge on my laptop so iTunes has no device connected to it. Please Help! Before it tuned off it had about 40-ish percent. I've had it charging since last night hoping it would help but nothing's happened.
