IPhone lost or stolen, what to do?
So here's what happened, me & some security guard got into a small argument. So she calls the police and while they were arresting me they slammed me on the ground and my phone was sliding out of my hands while they were putting me in handcuffs I shouted "Get my phone please" they didn't listen. And when my phone fell out of my hands there was nothing I could do about it because I was in handcuffs, it was dark ect. So about 4 minutes later I asked them have they seen my phone so they went to the area where they arrested me and the phone was nowhere to be found. This was at a school btw. What do I do? Should I just give up on trying to find it & just replace it or?
If its lost look for it. If its stolen then try to research who stole it
Not much but wait for the person who finds it to return it to you
- Will Verizon let me connect a Stolen/Lost iPhone? So I found an iPhone 4, and was wondering if I'm able to connect it to a Verizon Wireless Data Package Plan. I'm not sure if it has been reported stolen, but it's no longer connected so I'm guessing it has been. If I call or bring it in will they let me connect it? Or can I get in trouble for bringing/calling? The more info, the better please, thanks.
- Say someone sold you a stolen or lost iPhone 5.can it be tracked? I lost an iPhone 5… Just wondering, is there a way to track it to who ever has it? I mean after they have basically factory reset it. I heard they have a GPS tracker that allows the carrier to track it… Is that true? Can someone start using the phone themselves… With no problem. Have I lost my iPhone for good?
- Lost an IPhone and reported it stolen.what's next? I lost my iPhone on 4th of July and I'm assuming I left it on the beach and someone took it. I reported it to Verizon and I reported it stolen. Now what does that do? If some try's to put it on their plan will they take it from them or what?
- IPhone 5 insurance, lost or stolen? I just got the iPhone 5 with Verizon. I'm paying $10 a month for insurance That covers lost and stolen. Does this mean that since I have the insurance, that if I lose my iPhone, they'll give me another one for no extra fees? Just like that?
