IPhone 5 insurance, lost or stolen?
I just got the iPhone 5 with Verizon. I'm paying $10 a month for insurance That covers lost and stolen. Does this mean that since I have the insurance, that if I lose my iPhone, they'll give me another one for no extra fees? Just like that?
Most likely you're going to have to pay a deductible and knowing its that phone I would say 150-200 could be the price if its lost or stolen
Oh, you'll have to pay your deductible, likely $50 or $75. And then they permanently deactivate your old one, and then they send you a refurb. Maybe not the new I5, either, but whatever comparable model they have sitting on the shelf.
Verizon offers insurance through Asurion. It is called total equipment coverage. There's a $45 non-refundable deductible per approved claim. And you are limited to 2 replacements in a 12-month period with an equipment maximum of $400 per claim. Replacement devices may be remanufactured equipment. If the same model is not available, a comparable model will be provided.

- Will car insurance cover stolen good, while it was under their care? I had an accident, State Farm towed it to some salvage yard, got it back, camera, registration, spare tire, iPhone charger, battery pack, limited edition pocket knife all gone! Change jar cleaned out, and EZ pass used. I called State Farm, and they are closed. I'm so vexed right now.
