Iphone 'Other' taking up too much space?

So I had looked this up and it said that I should clear all my history and bookmarks, and then text messages which I did. I only have 3 text messages open and no history or bookmarks and nothing in my reading list.
Before I did this, I had 8.2GB in other but after I have 7.56GB, so its only a tiny difference.
What can I do to clear some of it? I only have 826.9MB available.
How can I fix this?
I had an Iphone before but the lock button broke so they simply replaced it and thats when I noticed the problem.

Added (1). The pictures and everything else take up almost no space. The only problem is 'Other'

Delete some pictures and music, that's what takes up the most space.

I would try and reset it. Don't back anything up itll mess your iPhone when you reset it. If it is jailbroken then delete some jailbreak stuff because thats happened to me before.

I only have MAYBE 200 pictures at the MAX and, yes, a few videos only a few minutes long, but for some reason it says I have 8.2 GB of memory used on pictures. I just went through all of my pictures, and I was thinking there had to be some app or SOMETHING using a lot of picture memory somehow. P Please, can anyone give me a little help and tell me what could be causing this?

I did the math and all that only takes up 3.6 GB (my phone is 8 GB but only 6.33 is available) so that means I should have about 2.5 GB left on my phone but somehow I only have 722 MB! So what is taking up so much memory and how can I get rid of it?
