IPhone sends message as texts instead of iMessage? - 1
Ok so my friend and I text a lot and I assumed she didn't have an iPhone because every time I message her, it sends as a text. Well during our break at work, I saw that she had an iPhone. We tested it out again and I sent her a message and sure enough it did it again and sent as a text. She then sent me one and it did the same thing. She is the only iPhone user that I talk to that I have this problem with. Everyone else in my contacts gets my iMessage, and same with her--it's only me who she has this problem with. Is there any way to fix this?
Remove her completely from your phone contacts and then add her again and tell her to do the same thing.
- Why does it say imessage instead of text message? I have an iphone and whenever i txt my cousin who was a recent iphone user, but now she uses htc, it says imessage instead of a regular txt message so she doesn't receive my texts.

- Is there any possible way I can schedule when a text message sends on iPhone 5? I want to send a text for someone to wake up to in the morning although if I send it now I think she'll still be awake whereas I don't want to sleep in tomorrow so its too late. Can I set it to send a message at about 4am? Or shall I just set my alarm to wake me up to send it?
- IOS 6.1 IMessage sends texts as emails? Yesterday, I updated my iPhone to iOS 6.1 and today, I noticed that it was sending my iMessages from my email address. I tried to change the "Send/Receive" settings, but it only allows me to use my email. I've checked everywhere in settings, and it i couldn't find anything. Is this permanent with iOS 61. Or can I change it?
