Iphone storage is not adding up?
When I go to Settings>Usage it only adds up to around 3 GB but the phone says I have used 11 GB. I tried setting my phones time back to see if there would be phantom photos in the recently deleted album but there were not. I don't know what else to do and I'm getting really frustrated any ideas?
Clean your phone using cleaning apps, you may have unwanted files aka thumbnails
You're confusing Ram with Rom. The iPhone 7 has 3GB or ram in which applications and the OS are executed on. The Rom is what holds your video's pictures and music etc…
Also the OS itself uses some ROM. A 16GB iPhone for example will only typically have about 11GB of free storage that's available to you to use.
- Why is my iPhone storage space not adding up? My iPhone 5s iOS 9.2 62gb is saying that I only have a few gbs of space but when I add everything up(photos, apps,.) it only adds up to 14gb.

- On the I cloud on the Iphone what does total storage and available storage mean? Basically it says total storage 5gb and availible storage 5 gb. Does that mean there's already 5 gb of files on the Icloud?

I'm in the Navy and I'm going on deployment soon so, I'm racking up on stuff like movies and music so I won't be bored during deployment… I'm 3 seasons in on downloading stuff on Netflix and it says my storage is full… I deleted a lot of useless apps and music already and I downloaded a few more then it happened again… I see my iCloud storage is very empty but my phone storage is too full… How can I fix this.
