IPhone Wi-Fi forgetting network?
How do I stop my iPhone 6 plus from connecting automatically (when Wi-Fi is enabled) to a particular network? My gateway has both 2.4ghz and 5ghz and I don't want it connecting to the 2.4 one because it's very slow. I have Comcast by the way. Whenever I forget network it forgets the 5ghz one too.
Settings > Wi-Fi > Select the 2.4 Network > Forget This Network I have the same internet as you do, and the same phone. Once you forget it, if it forgets the 5ghz one too, then select the 5ghz and type in the password, being sure not to type it in for the 2.4.

- Wi-Fi on iPhone keeps saying unable to join network (my network name)? How can I fix this! It's been like this for a week but it works on my laptop fine. I tried unplugging it for a few seconds, I tried resetting network settings, I tried turning my phone off then on again, and I know I'm typing it right. I even typed it in upper case AND lower case. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
- What's the difference between off-network and on-network? I'm try to work out which is best for what I want out of the service. I want protection while on my iPhone 5 (both when connected via Wi-Fi and when roaming on 3/4G). Website with product details: http://www.umbrella.com/products/umbrella-security-features/
- Same network, Iphone 5 only receiving Edge service, Iphone 4 receiveing 3g service? Running IOS 6.1.2 on Iphone 5, 6.1 on Iphone 4 Both on O2 Can't get 3g service on iphone 5. Iphone 4 can and they are both in the same room, any ideas why?
- Looking for a way to evenly share network speed in a house network? So my problem is that I play games online, that need a good ping. Whenever anyone from any other computer goes to load a video on youtube in a high quality, it takes up all the speed, gives me more than 400 ping and just pretty much cuts everyone else out. Is there a way to share the network evenly between every user? Our download speed is about 6mb/s, so if we have 4 active users, i'd like it to share it like 1.5mb/s each.
