Is 16gb enough for an iPhone? - 1

I'm getting an iPhone 4s, but I don't know which size to get. I know it has nothing to do with performance, so that's not an issue. Would 16gb hold at most 50 apps, 100 songs, and probably at least 500 pictures?

Its not bad I have the 16 and i ran out of room in about 2 months i would really recommend a 32. And i think 64 is over kill

I have a 16gb iphone, and about 80 apps, 400-500 pics (i always sync them into my computer and erase off the phone when it gets beyond that), and about 250 songs. With all that, I usually have about 1.5 to 2 gigabytes left over. So yes, 16gb should be more than enough.

If you are not into saving too many pics and videos it is enough. I have a 16gb one myself.

and as an organised girl you don't need all the pics and videos on your phone! You should back up your phone ften and can always transfer the less used videos photos to your computer!

  • Will a 16GB iPhone 5 have 16GB of space? I want to get an iPhone 5 and the 16GB will suffice, however I'm concerned about the actual space. I have a 32GB iPod Touch but according to iTunes the maximum space available is 28.5GB. Could I expect this sort of thing to happen on the iPhone?

I could sell my ipod, but I want to spend as little as possible. WIll 16gigs be enough for me?
  • My new 16gb iPhone 5s' storage doesn't equal 16gb? I bought a 16GB iPhone 5s and when i go to Settings > General > Usage, it says i used 2.3 GB and i have 10.6 GB available. And that would equal 12.9 GB. Shouldn't it equal 16GB?
