Is an iPhone 5s 16gb enough?
I need it for college, so it needs to be able to record lectures, take pictures, and have some apps in it… Is 16 sufficient enough? What usually takes most of the gb?
Lectures, pics, and apps is fine for 16gb. 16gb is the most popular model. I keep about 300 pics, 450 songs, a couple long vids, and 15-20 apps and I'm still good. Best luck.

Seriously I'm using 16 and it's too less. As you said that you will take pictures and record lectures. So it's less. Because videos and photos take the most of the memory. I can't download all the movies that I wanna download. I have to delete all the movies before downloading more. Seriously some cash is worth it. I would recommend you to get a 64gb one. You will at least feel a little relaxed. Lol.
Pictures, video, recording things for extended amounts of time, music…

As far as what takes up the most space that of course depends on what the user puts on it.

Just got the iPhone 4s 16gb and not sure if it was the right choice, I'm mainly gonna be using it for pictures like instagram Facebook email a couple games maybe 10 and put about 50 songs or less. - Will a 16GB iPhone 5 have 16GB of space? I want to get an iPhone 5 and the 16GB will suffice, however I'm concerned about the actual space. I have a 32GB iPod Touch but according to iTunes the maximum space available is 28.5GB. Could I expect this sort of thing to happen on the iPhone?
- Will a 16gb iphone 4s have enough space? Okay, I have about 10gb of music, 2 gigs of apps, and.15g of photos currently on my 32g ipod touch 4th gen. I'm paying for this iphone myself, for christmas. My parents are very against me getting one, so that's the way it's gonna be. I currently have a piece of crap lg keyboard phone, so I need an upgrade anyway. Used iphone 4s 16g s are 50 bucks on sprint. Used 32g are 150. I could sell my ipod, but I want to spend as little as possible. WIll 16gigs be enough for me?
- My new 16gb iPhone 5s' storage doesn't equal 16gb? I bought a 16GB iPhone 5s and when i go to Settings > General > Usage, it says i used 2.3 GB and i have 10.6 GB available. And that would equal 12.9 GB. Shouldn't it equal 16GB?
