Is it bad if I put my iPhone 4s in charging for the whole night everyday?

I've heard somewhere that this reduces memory? Is it true? Best answer gets 10 points!

No I've done this all the time with iphones and have never had a problem

It is not good to leave your iPhone charging overnight. It keeps the phone warm which therefore lessens the battery's over all life. Not to mention uses more electricity all night.
However, leaving it charging overnight will not affect the memory. Hope this answers your question!

It does not harm the phone. The iPhone is designed to carefully manage charging and use of the battery so that it never gets overcharged or excessively discharged. You can leave it plugged into the charger for as long as you want. Once it's fully charged, the iPhone will stop charging for a while and let the battery run down a tiny bit. Then it will start charging again. This avoids the risk of overcharging.

  • Why does charging an iPhone over night hurt it, and how can I help it? Okay. Does my battery die quickly because I charge it over night? And does it kinda mess it up? I've heard it does that. If so, then how and when do I charge my iPhone? How can I make it so my battery life lasts longer?
  • My iPhone has been charging an entire night but won't turn on? It has water damage but was repaired with minor issues as expected. The last two nights its taken longer and longer for it to charge to turning on. Last night is the worst because its been charging for over 8 hours and hasn't turned on. AND YES the lightning bolt' symbol is on. Anyone have this prob? I'm worried it will just never turn on again? Have you heard of this happening? Yes I've tried the soft power down holding both buttons doesn't do anything to turn it on
  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
  • Is it bad to leave your iPhone on at night but not charging? I've heard your not supposed to leave it on the charger at night so what if I just charge it to a hundred and leave it on at night. I want to do this for an alarm. Will leaving it on at night hurt the battery in the long run? It dosent bother me if it loses a little battery but is it bad to keep it on at night or is it okay as long as it's not on the charger?
