Is it bad that I think my iPhone5 is useless?

I'm 13 yrs old. I might sound like some spoiled selfish kid but I'm not. My parents buy my an iPhone when I don't really want one until I'm older and can make actual use of it. When I get it, I can't make an Apple ID since my brother already made one using my mom's credit card, he already forgotten it, and it was for my iPad, I don't even know the internet password. ( Dad got ipad for free from points by buying gas, works as bus driver) I'm usually home all the time so I don't need it for anything the phone provides. (Texting, internet, music, games, calling)
Also, no phones in school as always.
I think my parents are wasting money on me.

  • Way to delete useless pre-installed iPhone 4S apps? Alright, so I finally got my iPhone 4S (i know, not up to date, but it will do! And there are pre-instaled apps that I wish to get rid of to save data, save battery life, etc. The apps are stocks, maps, and weather. Surely they may be useful (well, not really stocks), but I'm only a sophomore in high school and don't need any of them as of now: P Any help is greatly appreciated! ~Jordan
  • My iPhone X has been hacked is my phone useless now? My ex stole my Apple ID password and security questions and has changed them. On top of that, she has locked my apps such as my calendar and notes. I can't access nothing without putting the Apple ID PW in. Is my phone no good now? Do I have to buy another?
  • Is an iPhone useless without a data plan that has internet? I was planning on buying an unlocked iPhone from Craigslist and just inserting my sim card in but i would like to know whether it's worth it or not. I will have access to the internet (through wi-fi) for the iPhone, just not a data plan that includes internet. i want an iPhone because my current phone is crapping out on me and i need a new music device.
