Is it good value to buy an iPhone 4 for £170?
Has been owned by a friend for 4 months but she's upgrading to the iphone 5. I'm not sure if 170 is a rip off or not? Opinions please! Should i go for it or not?
That is probably the best deal out there especially for a 4 month old iPhone 4 they are about £400 new so £170 for just four months is brilliant. BUT make sure everything works. Or else its you'll be stuck with a rubbish phone in the end and paying £170 also check for cosmetic damages!
Amazon are selling a used iPhone for £200 so £170 is not bad.

Yes, it will update to iOS6, but its not getting the nice features
they are only on the 4S and 5

but as it clearly being phased out by apple, you have to ask how much longer it will be usefu
You also need a iPhone plan to go with it
170 for a 24 months = 7 pounds/month
and t-mobile already gives a Free iPhone 4 on the same plan as SIM only (26/month)
so ask youself how much to pay for a SIM only plan?
if it is more than 19 pounds - you lose (19 + 7 = 26)
