Is it possible that a dead Iphone would give off a busy signal?
I was trying to call a friend today and I got a busy signal. The phone did not ring and I immediately got a busy signal. The phone was also not receiving imessages or texts. The friend said that their phone died. Is that possible or might they have been doing something to keep calls from coming through?

A busy signal comes from the phone company - not the phone.

- When you give APPLE a defective IPHON do they give you a reconditioned one back? My IPHONE had a defect, still under warranty, so I took it to an Apple MAC store and after a few days they gave it back, supposedly repaired. Now the replaced IPHONE has a problem, different than the previous problem I'm now having a problem with the taking a photo. Do they just replace your phone with a reconditioned one they say no but?
- What does 'USER BUSY' mean when calling someone? Does 'USER BUSY' mean the other person rejected the call or they're on the phone with someone else at the time? (NOT on iphone btw if it makes a difference)
