Is it worth updating to ios 7.1?

I have an iphone 4 (not 4s), and it's jailbroken. It's on ios 5.1.1. I have saved shsh blobs for it via ifaith and backed it up on itunes, but I'm still nervous about updating it. Is it really worth it? Will I lose a lot of the apps I got through jailbreaking? I'm not sure how I should go about doing this. Let me know your opinion.

It can't be denied that iOS 7.1 has a lot of outstanding features. The disadvantage is iOS 7.1 device can't be jailbroken. So weigh it yourself, if you don't care about jailbreak, have a try for the newest iOS 7.1

I have a 4S with 7.1 no jailbreak, from what i can tell you overall of features 80%/100% yes
battery 75%/100% because from the draining uses caused…

  • Will updating my iPhone apps affect my phone speed as how updating the Operating System (OS) will? Currently I'm using the iPhone 5s on iOS 8.3 I know if I were to update my phone to the latest OS I may notice some slowdown on my phone's performance, since it may not have the "muscle" to handle certain functions. Many apps now are optimised for iOS 9 and/or the 6th generation phones. Will my 5s' speed performance slow down if I update my apps? Will the app's performance slow down?
  • Will updating from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 remove everything? I know that if you 'Majorly' update your iPhone it will erase everything from your iPhone like updating ios 4 to ios 6, but what if you are just updating your iPhone from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 on the same version, is there any difference or it will also remove everything?
  • Updating unlocked iPhone 4 to latest ios without losing carrier? I have an iPhone 4, not 4s, and the current ios is 4.0.2., and the current carrier is T-Mobile. I need too know if updating it will take out the carrier and/or brick my phone.
  • Updating iOS version on iPhone itself? Hi, I was wondering if I updated my iPhone to the latest version, on the iPhone itself; i.e, not going through iTunes, but rather by settings>update, will I lose my photos, contacts! And will I lose my jailbreak!
