Is my Iphone 4 broken for good?
So the charger is plugged in and it's Just stuck on the Apple Logo for about 10 secs then goes black and repeats again, if i unplug it from the charger it stays black… I wanna know if i can fix it? I can get it to an Apple shop in maybe a few weeks but is the repair price worth it?
If its a hardware issue - no its not worth having fixed, certainly not at an Apple store
in fact if you have any Apple gear. Don't take it anywhere near an Apple store unless its a warranty job
friend of mine recently took a laptop into an Apple store was quoted $1100 for a repair I organised for $90

But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.

So I want to try to replace a iphone screen, and since the iphone 4/4s would be a good candidate, since it's hard to replace its screen, I would use one of them. But since I have a phone that's in Like New condition (been in a otterbox in addition to screen protectors) I don't want to use it. Can some one help me find a good phone to test on?
