What would be a good iphone 4/4s (Amazon) to be a good test dummy?
So I want to try to replace a iphone screen, and since the iphone 4/4s would be a good candidate, since it's hard to replace its screen, I would use one of them. But since I have a phone that's in Like New condition (been in a otterbox in addition to screen protectors) I don't want to use it. Can some one help me find a good phone to test on?
Any cracked or water damaged phones should fit the bill, as you just want to replace the screen for experimental purposes. Amazon wouldn't have these (at least I don't think so) but, eBay should have plenty.
- Would this be a good dummy/toy? So lately my brother has been using my phone and iPod. I thought that getting him a fake plastic one would keep him from taking my phone. WRONG! He complained, saying it was plastic, but was fine with it not working. So, I figured getting some cheap parts for assembling a dummy iphone 4 (home button, screen, back, and a weight in it to add for real ness) so I've been saving money and got enough for it. Is this a smart idea? Or am I wasting my time? (He's 12 years old with autism.)
